Calamity Day Make Up

Governor Kasich signed HB 36 that increased the number of calamity days this year from three to five. Springfield Local used six calamity days this year, therefore one day must be made up. As per our board approved calendar for the 2010-11 school year, that makeup day will be at the end of the year. The final day of school for students will be June 6.

ALL Athletics Cancelled

All events (home and away) scheduled for this evening (January 12) have been postponed TBA due to the closing of school and the unpredictable threat of future weather.

SNOW DAY & EXAMS RESCHEDULED

This message is for 8th grade students who take high school classes 1st and 2nd period at Springfield High School. The High School is adjusting the exam schedule due to the snow day today. Tomorrow, Thursday January 13^th will be first period exams. Second period exams have been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 18^th. Second semester classes AT THE HIGH SCHOOL ONLY will not begin until Wednesday, January 19 to allow you to complete your exams.

Parent Group Meeting

The next parent group meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 13th at 6:00 pm in the Spring Hill Library.
